    I try really hard now that I have a new car...I don't want anything to happen to my shiny new car!

5. What makes you feel sexy?
    A cute summer dress, flip flops, blonde hair, and a tan!!

6. I get excited when...........?
     I get to spend time with Aaron and my friends!

7. Are you the "outdoorsy" type or more "indoorsy"?
    indoorsy...unless i'm outside by a pool getting sun!!! ;)

8. Would you rather have your dream home or a million dollars?
    A million dollars for sure!!! :)

Friday Fives...5 Things You Don't Know About Me

Here is a Friday Fives from a while ago...

1) I always rub my feet together when I'm laying down to sleep or laying down watching tv. It gets on aaron's nerves so much but I can't help it. Most of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it until he points it out. I've been doing since I was a kid and I don't think I'll ever be able to stop!

2) My favorite number is 5 and I have an obsession with making everything come back to that number in some way. I do it with license plates, dates, letters, events...you get the idea. Its a strange OCD thing I have that I can't shake!

3) I hate lemon or lime pulp in my drink. Well actually anything that can get sucked up my straw. I can't drink mojitos because of this. It totally freaks me out for some reason. I love the flavor of those things in my drink, but if anything other than the flavor gets in my drink I can't stand it. ewwww.....

4) I've become obsessed with weighing myself. Since I've started loosing weight I can't stop getting on the scale. Its become like a game! I used to hate getting on the scale and refused to even own one. Now I freak out when I'm on the road and there isn't one to use. I assume one day this will go away, but for now its in full force!

5) I sleep on Aaron's side of the bed when he is out of town. I think I do this cause it makes me feel safe and secure. I have no problem sleeping on my side when he is home, but I can't do it while he is gone.

The Little Things We Do

1.  One song that always takes me back to my youth is Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice! I was absolutely obsessed with that tape when it came out. I played it in my tape player so much it I actually broke the tape! I begged my mama for a new one, but by the time she got around to actually saying yes, I was already over it!! Still every time I hear it though it brings me back to 3rd grade!

2.  My first concert ever was    The Beach Boys .

3.  If I could create my dream music festival I'd want these bands to be there:  Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, N'sync, Christiana Aguilera, Nelly, Jay Z, Rhianna, Tom Petty, Queen, Journey, Hanson, Garth Brooks, Reba, Aerosmith, Ne-Yo, Jann Arden, Hottie and the Blowsfish, Elvis Presley(i know he is dead, but it says my dream festival!!), Kings of Leon, Madonna, New Kids on the Block, Matchbox Twenty, Snoop Dog, Timbaland, and maybe i'll throw in a little soul decision for flavor!!! :)

4.  The best make-out/"boot knocking" song ever is      112 "Anywhere"   .

5.  The best concert I've ever been to was   Mine is a 3 way tie between all my Justin Timberlake, N'Sync, and Britney Spears shows! I am probably at my all time happiest when I'm acting like a teeny bopper in pure pop heaven!! ;)I don't think I'll ever grow out of it!! 

6.  A memorable musical moment for me was   there are so many for me I can't even name one...I guess I'll go with music in itself.  It is my life and my job. I live music and without it I don't know where I would be. Music makes me! 

7.  The song on my iPod that's getting the most play these days is    It would probably be a tie between "Rude Boy" by rhianna and "Imma Be" by the black eyed peas!

What is one thing your S.O. does that drives you crazy?

This is a tough one, cause I'm sure I could think of tons of little things he does that drives me crazy!! ha!  I guess the biggest one is never being completely blown away by things. Wether is food, a movie, a story, clothes, a hotel... anything.  We could be at a 5 star restaurant where the head chef is personally making his steak and its out of this world and this would be how our conversation would go.

me: "so how is your food baby?"

aaron: "uhhh...it's alright"

me: "seriously, I think it taste great"

aaron: "its not bad"

me: "are you ever completely satisfied?"

aaron:"ehh"

We have probably had a conversation like that a million times since we started dating.  I don't know what I'll do when I ask him that and he actually loves it! I won't know how to act! But until that day I guess I'll have to settle for "ehh"!!! :)

Married Mondays (the single addition!!)

Ok...So i've been bad at blogging lately. I seem to go through periods when I'm on top of it, and then periods when I don't bother with it at all.  Today is a day I'm on top of it! So I'm going to go back a couple weeks and answer Stephanie's Married Mondays (the single addition!!).

 Your first vacation with your S.O. or for the singles, your first with a S.O. ever.

Me and Aaron's first vacation(mini) together was actually the day after our first official date.  Aaron decided that morning that we should drive to Atlanta and go to a Braves baseball game! I thought it was so romantic and spontanious! On the drive down we decided to be silly and count all the "see rock city" and "fall creek falls" signs! It was so funny and sweet at the same time! I can't remember the exact number, but I think it was something like 87! We hadn't expected to go out of town, so we literally just had what we were wearing which made me feel like we were living on the edge!! ;) We had a great time at the game and an even greater time at the hotel ;)  We try to go to several baseball games a year now, but this one holds a special place in my heart cause it was our first trip and game together!!! :) 

Friday Fives...5 Favorite Restaurants

1) The Palm

This is my favorite restaurant. Aaron turned me on to it when we first started dating and I fell in love. We try to go to as many as possible when we are in other cities, but the one in Nashville is great! I swear I could eat a filet every day if I was able to and this place has the best! 

2) Calypso Cafe

I could literally eat here everyday and never get bored or tired of the food.  Everything they have there is amazing! My favorite is the black bean salad(with chicken or beef).  They use this spice concoction to season both their chicken and beef and it is to die for. If only they would sell the recipe!! ;)

3) Fiesta Mexicana

This is my favorite mexican restaurant in Nashville.  I've been going there for who knows how long! They have good food, great drinks, and an amazing patio! I've had many a wonderful night start here and it will forever be one of my favs!! 

4) J Alexander's 

If you want to be guaranteed a really good meal, no matter time or day,  then go to J Alexander's!  Everything I have ever gotten there has been great! Their rattlesnake pasta is one of my absolute favorites! It has just the right amount of spice and the mix of that with the peppers if to die for! The service is always great, wether your in and out for a quick bite or there for a relaxing dinner. 

5) Pei Wei

A quick yet great asian meal for under 10 bucks!! What more could you ask for?? Being owned by the same company as PF Chang's, you know the quality of the food is always going to be great! You just can't go wrong with this place!! 

What was I thinking?!!?

So I have been looking at pictures of me from this past winter and all I've got to say is....What Was I Thinking???? I looked like a different person. I apparently became on of those people who sees one image in the mirror and everybody else sees a completly different image(and a not so good one mind you). I'm litterally blown away at how I looked. Friends, I love you all for loving me no matter what, but really???!!!??? Crystal Marie should never go dark with her hair again, or long for that matter. So please, when I get that urge again to change it up, stop me and remind me that I said Hell No!! Also, when you see me gain a million pounds please tell me to get my fat ass to the gym and figure it out!!! I have beyond georgous best friends and I cannot drag you wonderful girls down!!! ;)
Now, with that being said and out of the way, I am starting to fall in love with the new Crystal that i am becoming in 2010! I feel great both mentally and physically! I actually feel like a...dare I say....grown up! ;) Though there have been a few bumps along the road, 2010 is the Year of Crystal and being that it's only April I can only imagine what is in store for me the rest of this amazing year!!!! :)
